A Rough Guide To Tipping

Unless you are completely savvy about the process, tipping can be quite a daunting act. ย In some Countries it is expected whereas in others it can be perceived as rude. ย From experience, I have made a ‘rough’ guide to how to tip in various regions throughout the globe. ย Of course, tipping is a reward for service and is always at discretion.

THE UK and EUROPE

๐Ÿจ   Ideally 1-2 Euro’s or ยฃ1-ยฃ2 per bag.
This is common rule throughout Tthe Continent.
โ€‹
๐Ÿ”๐Ÿท  If no service charge is added then tip 10% of the bill.

๐Ÿš•    This is up to you.  It’s pretty much ‘keep the change’

โ€‹ ๐Ÿจ = Accommodation ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿท = Food/Drink ๐Ÿš• = Transport

โ€‹

NORTH AMERICA (wages tend to be lower)
